As in previous years, the Casino da Madeira presents a dinner and spectacle, during which the icing on the cake, is actually the visualization, of the fire of -cartifice of the splendid terrace of our building.
Starring in the Empress Sissy Hall Orchestra and with the presence of five fabulous singers, accompanied by the choreography of the dancers of the Prestige Dance Club, the show “Songs Of Fire” promises to raise the temperature even more.
The program has 9 musicians on stage and with the voices of Cláudia Sousa, Duarte Santos, João Camacho, Paulo Soares, Vânia Fernandes and Maria Ferreira, and will go through the catalog of themes of great musicals such as “The Phantom of the Opera “” The Greatest Showman “,” Chattanooga Choo-Choo “,” Hairspray “and” Mamma Mia “, with the aim of creating and providing a unique and fabulous environment in anticipation of the pyrotechnic spectacle taking place in Funchal bay.
SAVAGE: Copacabana’s Wednesdays
As the summer holidays approach, Copacabana and the Garden prepare to open on Wednesdays, with a new themed night. “SAVAGE” is the concept that promises to give you dance, from June 19th and throughout every Wednesday. Savage will also offer two drinks to all ladies who enter the disco before 1am.
Coral Moonlight Concert with Paulo Praça
Paulo Praça is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and natural producer from Vila do Conde. He collaborated with groups and artists such as Sequoia, 3 Tristes Tigres, GNR, Pedro Abrunhosa and The Gift. He also founded the groups TurboJunkie, Grace and Plaza and also integrated the pop project to honor Amália Rodrigues, Amália Hoje.
Paulo Praça makes his debut in Madeira, in a concert at the Moonlight in the South Garden of the Casino.

The show “It Takes Two – Greatest Duets”, produced by Luís Sousa and Vânia Fernandes, and headed by the singers Vânia Fernandes, Tiago Sena, Cláudia Sousa, Nuno Perestrelo, Sofia Almeida and João Geraldo, with the musical direction of Georgy Titov and dance direction of Juliana Andrade, promises to revisit the unforgettable duets that marked the past decades.
From pop music to musicals, from light music to timeless Queen and Kool & Gang songs. It’s forty-five minutes of pure entertainment. Enjoy the show!
The Madeira Mandolin Orchestra, the oldest and youngest mandolin orchestra in Europe, returns with its weekly concerts at the Madeira Congress Center (Casino).
Directed by Maestro André Martins, the orchestra is composed of 27 performers between the ages of 12 and 40, and its repertoire consists of classical pieces by composers such as Kètèlbey, Vivaldi, Ponchieli, Strauss, among others.
